AdsMap

Introduction

Adsmap is a powerful Map system for AdsManager, once you complete the purchase process you will be able to download the compressed file “adsmap_v1.0.0_UNZIPME” (the version may change) the archive contain three extensions :

• adsmap.zip : AdsManager field plugin that integrates the map in the details and list view and submit ad view
• mod_adsmap_v1.0.0.zip : Joomla module to show the ads in fancy map

AdsManager Plugin: adsmap.zip

Installation:

You must install this plugin by the AdsManager Plugin Installer

• The first step is to login to your website administration
• And then from the top menu go to “Components” and choose “Adsmanager” then “Plugins”

• Click on “choose file” and browse the adsmap.zip plugin file
• Once the file is selected click on “Upload Package File”

Configuration:

Now to display the map you should:

• From the top menu go to “Components” and choose “Adsmanager” then “Fields”

• From the top bar click on “New” button

• Now you should configure the field to adapt it to your needs

1. Category: choose in which category you want to allow the map
2. Type: choose AdsMap as a type of the field
3. Name: enter a name for the field
4. Title: enter a title for the field
5. Published: make sure you publish the field
6. Display Title: think that you don’t want to show the title
7. Column? : if you want to display the map in the list view you choose in which column it will be displayed, you can create a column in AdsManager options
8. Position Display: if you want to display the map in the details view you have to choose a position
9. Map Width Details: width of the map in the details view
10. Map Height Details: height of the map in the details view
11. Map Width List: width of the map in the list view
12. Map Height List: height of the map in the list view
13. Default Latitude: default latitude of the map
14. Default Longitude: default longitude of the map
15. Google Key: Google map key

Joomla Module: mod_adsmap_v1.0.0.zip

This is a Joomla module that displays the ads in a modern fancy map

Installation:

• The first step is to login to your website administration
• And then from the top menu go to “Extensions” and choose “Manage”
• Select "Upload Package File" tab
• Click on “choose file” and browse the “ mod_adsmap_v1.0.0.zip” module file
• Once the file is selected click on “Upload & Install”

Configuration:

• From the administration area of your Joomla website go to “Extensions” and then “Modules”

• search and click on the module named “AdsMap for AdsManager”

• You have to publish the module and choose a position also you can configure the plugin to adapt it to your needs

1. Location Map Field: the field that holds the location information about the ads
2. Display: Select the order of ads you would like to display
3. Category: Select the category to choose the ads from.
4. Number of Ads: Number of ads to display
5. Google Key: Google map key
6. Load jQuery: manage the load of JQuery library

Don’t forget to assign the module to the desired menu link from the “Menu Assignment” tab
